WOW - so thrilled and honored to have won the Hollywood Just 4 Shorts competition with my screenplay for Saverio ! We are in the process of fundraising to make this short film a reality.  Please consider donating and check out the page on our producer's platform, Charming Stranger Films .  https://supportourstory.com/saveriothefilm
We're thrilled to have launched our campaign for the short film, SAVERIO ! And doubly thrilled to be partnering with producer Connie Jo Sechris t and Charming Stranger Films out of San Francisco.  This is an important film inspired by an encounter I had with an elderly man abandoned outside a supermarket.  SAVERIO  is basedo n true events and aims to shine a light on a silent issue called, "Granny Dumping." We hope to create dialogue and action around the challenges of caregiving and perceptions towards the aging and elderly. To bring this film to life I have kicked off a campaign with differnt way you can support! You can now donate, share this story on social media, assist on set and more! To everyone who has already donated to this project in any way, we can't thank you enough! xoxo

It's an honor to get interviewed and an even bigger honor to be interviewed by an author you admire for a Substack publication about books. I've always wanted to finish a novel.  I started a non-fiction "how-to" book years ago called, DIVORCE SUCKS, BUT YOU DON'T HAVE TO and never finished it. More recently I started a novel inspired by true events and am still chipping away at it. What happens is, I always pivot back to screenplays because ... well... probably a combination of severe impatience and mild but managed ADHD.  I still hope to get at least one of those books finished one day - perhaps the likes of teacher and author CHRISTINE SNEED, can help me realize that dream. Meantime, she recently interviewed me for her Substack BOOKISH , and you can read the Q&A by following this link .
